Per Peninsula Township Zoning Regulation 8.7.3, Chateau Chantal is limited to hosting events for registered guests of our inn or education pertaining to wine, food, or agriculture only.  We invite your inquiry for special events on premise and offer this general information to help you determine whether or not our capabilities will create the venue you seek.

Rental Policy:

Most large functions such as weddings or family parties require the rental of all eleven units. When renting all units, the use of our 2,000 square foot Hospitality Room with digital projector, large screen, and table configuration is included. A fee will be assessed for the use of the hospitality room.

A minimum Coordination Fee will be assessed for Chateau Chantal’s planning, coordinating and labor during the event. In addition to the 50% room deposit, a $500.00 security deposit is also required at the time of booking. Please keep in mind that the entire facility is open to all B&B guests. While we can prepare the Hospitality Room for your event, there is no absolute guarantee of full privacy unless all units are rented.

Use of tents and loud amplified music is prohibited.

Deposit:

Chateau Chantal requires a 50% deposit to hold our entire facility at the time of reservation. The deposit includes the room rental, the coordination fee and the security deposit. Payment in full is required 30 days prior to your event.

Cancellation Policy:

Chateau Chantal reserves the right to cancel the event if full payment isn't made within the agreed upon timelines. Please refer to the contract and policy attachments in this section.

The Boathouse Restaurant- Full service catering located 2.5 miles from Chateau Chantal on Old Mission Peninsula.

Catering by Kelly's - Full service catering with 28 years of experience. Includes use of china, linens, glassware, silverware, etc.

Old Mission Tavern and Bella Galleria- A unique dining experience one mile north of Chateau Chantal on 37. Great food and great art with the "down home" atmosphere.

Peninsula Grill Restaurant - Full service catering located 1.5 miles from Chateau Chantal on Old Mission Peninsula.

Premier Flowers and Gifts- located in downtown Traverse City they offer many spectacular floral arrangements and do many of Chantal's floral displays.
