The Corporation

Chateau Chantal is a Michigan Corporation.  The Company was incorporated in 1991.  At yearend 2006 there were shares of common stock issued and outstanding.  The Begin family, founders of the Company, hold approximately 44% of the common stock.  Director Arnold Ochs holds 36%.  Three equity alliance investors hold 10%.  The remaining 10% is held byiinvestors who acquired shares at various times including a 2003/2004 stock offering.

Governance

The company is governed by a five to nine member Board of Directors. Directors are elected by majority vote of shareholders voting at the Company's annual meeting.  

Management and Organization

Operations of the Company are led by a ten member management team.  The Management Team is led by the CEO appointed by the Board for an indefinite term.  Other members of the management team are accountable to the CEO.  All managers and employees are expected to conduct business ethically and in fulll compliance with the law.
