Chateau Chantal's Founders' Trail

Founders' Story
Bob and Nadine Begin purchased this 65 acre estate in 1983 which was planted to cherries at the time.  After converting the farm to wine grapes starting in 1986 and through the 90’s, the couple sought partners to invest in building a dream.  Enter our Founders: Joe & Pat Hanish, John & Rachel Hoffmann, Mark & Ursula Johnson, Fr. Jim Meyer, Arnold & Joyce Ochs and Edson & Sue Pontes.  Through their contributions, and later investment and hard work of additional investors and 10-year term CEO Jim Krupka, the Chateau flourished and grew into what you see today.
