A led tasting of 5 wines for $7 (excluding reserve wines) or $9 (including reserve wines).  Each tasting includes a coupon for $3 off a bottle purchase.


A flight of three wines for $10 (excluding reserve wines) or $12 (including reserve wines), to enjoy on our East Patio, West Terrace, or limited interior seating. Food options from our deli cooler are available to add on to this offering. These flights are available for pick-up at our main bar only.  Each taster receives a coupon for $3 off a bottle purchase.


A glass of wine of your choice for generally $7-9 per person to enjoy on our East Patio, West Terrace, or limited interior seating. Food options are available to add onto this offering.  Depending on the day/time wine by the glass is available for pick-up at our main bar (or from the East Patio Gazebo on select days). Each taster receives a coupon for $3 off a bottle purchase.


May be available on a walk-in basis at 1pm or 3pm for $10/person, but reservations recommended. See details under tours & exclusive offerings, offered mid-June through Labor Day.

RESERVED SEATED TASTING (available June through September)

Pre-order a charcuterie board with a flight of wines- $20 per person includes a wine flight of 3 wines in a portable caddy and a charcuterie board, plus a privately held table. Reservations may be booked for 2-8 people and are subject to availability. Please reserve at least 24-hours in advance. Each taster receives a coupon for $3 off a bottle purchase.  Available Here


Reserve a “walking-tasting” while touring our wine cellar. Four wines are tasted at various locations in our wine cellar. Cost is $12 per person for groups with 19-50 people (not offered to groups fewer than 19). Each taster receives a coupon for $3 off a bottle purchase. Please reserve 1-week in advance, reservations only made by calling the winery - not available on the website.



Once again on offer daily! At 1pm or 3pm for just $10 per person, you can learn more about the craft of winemaking. This tour includes a stroll through the wine cellar and lasts 30 minutes (this tour leaves promptly on the hour, and will return to the tasting room on the half-hour).  Add a glass of wine to be enjoyed on your tour for just $5.  Reserve online in advance to secure a spot, or pay when you arrive at the winery (subject to availability). A delicious 7-course wine pairing dinner prepared fresh on select days by our talented in-house chef. Dinners begin at 6:00pm with a winery tour and a 6:30pm seating. Per person, price is $89 and is all-inclusive - food, wine, tax, and tip. The menu will be posted when available but will include these courses: Amuse Bouche, Appetizer, Soup, Fish, Wine Sorbetto, Main, Salad, & Dessert. Congratulations if you purchased a certificate for a “VIP tour at Chateau Chantal” from your local charitable event. We ask that you book your tour at least one week in advance. Tours are offered daily at 11am, 1pm, or 3pm and last about 2 hours. (no tours on Saturdays & Sundays mid- September through early-November due to harvest traffic). These tours are priceless and are not available for purchase from Chateau Chantal, but are exclusively available at charitable events. Includes special wine discounts for each guest. Available Here

Jazz at Sunset

Every Thursday evening Mid June - August we offer a free evening of Jazz with the Jeff Haas Trio and his special guests.  7pm-9:30pm.  Families welcome, no RSVP required.  Wine tasting available during the break, coffee, tea, and lemonade available free of charge during a performance.

We're an easy drive north, in one of the most scenic and historic areas of the Great Lakes. A 65-acre estate, located high atop a ridge on the Old Mission Peninsula. Located 12 miles north of Traverse City on M-37 (Center Rd.)

From the Detroit area:
Take I-75 North
Turn left on M-72, follow to US 31/M-72
Turn left on US 31 toward Traverse City for 6 miles
Turn right onto M-37/Garfield Ave. Follow M-37 for 12 miles
We are on the right-hand side of M-37, 1 mile past Mapleton

From Grand Rapids:
Take US 131-North toward Cadillac
After the highway ends past Cadillac, turn left onto MI-113 toward Traverse City
Turn right onto Garfield Rd/Brownson Ave/CR-611 in the village of Kingsley
Garfield Rd/Brownson Ave/CR-611 becomes Garfield Ave. in Traverse City
Follow Garfield through Traverse City, S. Garfield becomes M-37
Take M-37 12 miles out on Old Mission Peninsula. We are on the right-hand side, 1 mile past Mapleton.
