Tasting Room Hours

Chateau Chantal is open daily, year round. Complimentary wine tastings are held in the Chateau's great room or in the wine cellar.

Sundays year round: 12 - 5 p.m.
Mid June thru August: Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm
September thru October: Monday-Saturday 11am-7pm
November thru Mid June: Monday-Saturday 11am-5pm
Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday*.

*Please call for eve of hours, i.e. Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Good Friday, etc.

Winery Tours

We offer cellar tours during the summer months: Mid June - August on the hour at 1, 2, & 3 p.m. If you have a large group and would like to schedule a tour at a different time, please call us at 1.800.969.4009.


Directions

We're an easy drive north, in one of the most scenic and historic areas of the Great Lakes.  A 65-acre estate, located high atop a ridge on the Old Mission Peninsula. Located 12 miles north of Traverse CIty on M-37 (Center Rd.)

Chateau Chantal is located on Old Mission Peninsula about 13 miles from downtown.


From the Detroit area:

Take I-75 North
Turn left on M-72, follow to US 31/M-72
Turn left on US 31 toward Traverse City for 6 miles
Turn right onto M-37/Garfield Ave. Follow M-37 for 12 miles
We are on the right hand side of M-37, 1 mile past Mapleton


From Grand Rapids:

Take US 131-North toward Cadillac
After the highway ends past Cadillac, turn left onto MI-113 toward Traverse City
Turn right onto Garfield Rd/Brownson Ave/CR-611 in the villiage of Kingsley
Garfield Rd/Brownson Ave/CR-611 becomes Garfield Ave. in Traverse City
Follow Garfield through Traverse City, S. Garfield becomes M-37
Take M-37 12 miles out on Old Mission Peninsula. We are on the right hand side, 1 mile past Mapleton.
