Shipping Policy

We currently ship to the following states: CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, OH, TX & WI. 

All shipments are via UPS GROUND and an ADULT signature by a person over the age of 21 is required upon delivery.  Verification of age is required (we use the service “ShipCompliant”) if we cannot verify that you are over 21 years of age via the ShipCompliant service we will require a copy of your state ID or driver’s license before completing your order.  If we cannot verify your age via one of these methods we will not ship wine to you.

Shipping specials (such as penny shipping) will be limited to no more than 2 cases per order and can only be shipped to one address.  Shipping specials do not apply to private label orders or in-house shipping.

Legal Age: You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine.  By placing your order on our website, on the phone, or in person at our store, you are representing to Chateau Chantal that you are at least 21 years old.  All wines delivered must be received by an adult of 21 years or older.  We will require a copy of your government ID before shipping if we cannot verify your age electronically.

By purchasing wine from the Chateau Chantal,, you agree that you are bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

• All risk of loss and damage to wine passes to you upon delivery of the wine purchased.
• These Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as your and our respective rights and obligations hereunder, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced per the laws of the State of Michigan. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction with any wine purchased from us. In no event shall our liability ever exceed the purchase price paid by you for such wine.
• Chateau Chantal assumes no liability for wine damaged due to poor weather during transport. This includes leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. So, be sure of shipping conditions before placing your order.
• Every attempt is made to use the correct label image for the wine being displayed on this website. The wrong year may appear on the image being used because the correct year is unavailable and we take no responsibility if the label is incorrect.
